"Hah!" A familiar high-pitched laugh echos over the excitement of the crowd, one that Genji knows quite well.
"I should've known we would cross blades again!" Yoshimitsu shouts as he backflips into the ring like some sort of jester more than a ninja. Unlike their last steamy encounter in Hanzo's humble abode, Yoshimitsu is head-to-toe in armor again with that iconic white oni mask concealing his face.
Yoshimitsu almost fell out on the ground when Genji calls him that in front of hundreds of people. Thank goodness he's wearing this mask. The poor Manji is positively flustered. "QUIT IT!" He shouts as he threateningly points his katana at Genji. "It's Yoshimitsu! The Great Yoshimitsu! Don't you ever forget it!" His antics within the ring earns a few laughs from the crowd but the audience is getting a tad antsy. They came here to see a fight, not a comedy show.
Once they start chanting, Yoshimitsu gets into stance.
"Come at me with all you got! I can take it." He says proudly with a grin hidden behind his mask.
Genji laughs, tossing his head back when the Manji points his blade at him, but falling into an easy stance, his hand on his own blade and readying himself.
"We will see who comes out on top and gets their reward, me or you, The Great Yoshimitsu... kun."
The last tease is added on, and then Genji darts forward. He's maybe not as fast as he was in their first battle, but it's clear that he's still just as deadly. He moves to swing his blade at Yoshimitsu from the left.
Yoshimitsu lets out "hmph" as he stalks forward to parrying Genji's incoming blade with his own. While neither of them have the advantages of their augmented abilities here, Genji will notice that Yoshimitsu hasn't lost his strength. He's just as powerful as last time, almost absurdly so. He parries Genji's blade skillfully before breaking their deadlock and swinging his sword at Genji's right.
He's pretty much fighting the same as last time minus all the theatrics and foolery. His stance is ironically nothing like a ninja but he certainly seems to fight more like a samurai now. Yoshimitsu is reverting back to his old training rather than to the theatrical style he usually uses.
The change in style is surprising, but not something he can't adapt to. When Yoshimitsu swings towards his other side, Genji rotates his blade to deflect it, stepping away from being right up in Yoshimitsu's space. Genji may not be a match in pure strength, but he's always been quite the nimble ninja, as it were.
Something he uses to his advantage, keeping some space between them as he circles around the other man.
Of course Genji can adapt. Yoshimitsu expects the other ninja to do so. If there's one thing about Genji that Yoshimitsu likes, it's the fact that Genji is one of the few who can really contend with him. Unlike all the other competitors who've entered this ring, Genji is a solid match against the alleged first mechanical ninja. This is why there's a hint of genuine excitement in Yoshimitsu's overall demeanor despite the harshness of his strikes.
When Genji pivots to deflect his blade, Yoshimitsu does well not to lose his footing. Genji might not be able to match his strength but he's certainly nimbler. Yoshimitsu's movements are a little less fluid in this particular stance but the ancient ninja is determined to win.
"Quit your prancing!" Yoshimitsu growls as he charges forth with a quick series of slashes that Genji either better avoid or parry.
He knows his dropping trick is not likely to work twice against Yoshimitsu, as the other ninja follows after him, intent on pressing his strength advantage. Instead, Genji chooses to dodge back and forth - until Yoshimitsu gets close in on the last swing. Instead, he takes a calculated risk - when the man swipes at him, he lets the blade get in close to his side, and then traps it against his artificial side and arm by slamming the blade between the two.
Genji gives a bright grin at Yoshimitsu, wakizashi in hand as he taps it against Yoshimitsu's chest. "Okay. No more dancing."

"Perhaps it's fate!"

Genji does not strike a pose like Yoshimitsu's, but he does fold his arms, watching the other man with a grin.
"Neither you nor I can can count on the assistance of otherworldly forces this time. It will be on skill alone. Are you prepared, Yoshi-kun?"
