"Yoshi-kun!?!"

Yoshimitsu almost fell out on the ground when Genji calls him that in front of hundreds of people. Thank goodness he's wearing this mask. The poor Manji is positively flustered. "QUIT IT!" He shouts as he threateningly points his katana at Genji. "It's Yoshimitsu! The Great Yoshimitsu! Don't you ever forget it!" His antics within the ring earns a few laughs from the crowd but the audience is getting a tad antsy. They came here to see a fight, not a comedy show.

Once they start chanting, Yoshimitsu gets into stance.

"Come at me with all you got! I can take it." He says proudly with a grin hidden behind his mask.

"If you win, I might reward you later."

Yoshimitsu lets out "hmph" as he stalks forward to parrying Genji's incoming blade with his own. While neither of them have the advantages of their augmented abilities here, Genji will notice that Yoshimitsu hasn't lost his strength. He's just as powerful as last time, almost absurdly so. He parries Genji's blade skillfully before breaking their deadlock and swinging his sword at Genji's right.

He's pretty much fighting the same as last time minus all the theatrics and foolery. His stance is ironically nothing like a ninja but he certainly seems to fight more like a samurai now. Yoshimitsu is reverting back to his old training rather than to the theatrical style he usually uses.

This might be a little surprising.

Of course Genji can adapt. Yoshimitsu expects the other ninja to do so. If there's one thing about Genji that Yoshimitsu likes, it's the fact that Genji is one of the few who can really contend with him. Unlike all the other competitors who've entered this ring, Genji is a solid match against the alleged first mechanical ninja. This is why there's a hint of genuine excitement in Yoshimitsu's overall demeanor despite the harshness of his strikes.

When Genji pivots to deflect his blade, Yoshimitsu does well not to lose his footing. Genji might not be able to match his strength but he's certainly nimbler. Yoshimitsu's movements are a little less fluid in this particular stance but the ancient ninja is determined to win.

"Quit your prancing!" Yoshimitsu growls as he charges forth with a quick series of slashes that Genji either better avoid or parry.
