Genji looks up when he hears the offer of help, and gives a little chuckle when he sees the spade. He takes it when offered.

"I would not mind one. It has been quite some time since I gardened."

He may notice how the man's voice is not entirely human - it has an artificial reverberation in it that makes him sound a bit different.

"Just stopping by to bring a spade?" He suspects there's more than that since he's crouching down, but he wouldn't be offended by any curiosity.
